Step 1: Basic functions of the song viewer

The song view automatically switches between portrait and landscape modes, depending on the device orientation.

On the top and bottom of the screen you can see two toolbars.

The top toolbar is generally used for editing the current song.

The bottom toolbar is used for navigating the song and controlling the metronome and the playback options

You can hide both toolbars if you need more space on the screen.

To hide only the top toolbar just slide it up or double tap on the bottom border of the toolbar. To bring it back down, just double tap or slide it down again.

To hide both toolbars at once tap on the arrow Arrow Icon on the very left side of the bottom toolbar. With the same button Arrow Icon you can bring the toolbars back up.

You can scroll through the song by just swiping up and down. You can also use the zoom gesture by pinching in and out.

By using the two big arrow buttons on the left and right Arrow Icon Arrow Icon, you can instantly turn to the next or previous screen or page.

Per default the pages are displayed to fit the width of the screen, and the arrow buttons scroll up or down one screen at a time.

If you prefer to show the whole page on the screen at once, you can switch the scrolling behaviour to "page" mode in the lower toolbar. Tap on Arrow Icon to switch to page navigation. The picture on the button changes to Arrow Icon to indicate the new mode. Also the page is now displayed in a way that fits the entire screen. You can switch through the available scrolling modes by tapping the same button again.

To access all available view settings tap on the Settings Icon icon in the bottom toolbar.
